Activities in Pink October

Pink October – a month of support, awareness, and prevention!

As part of the commemoration of Pink October, together with SOU Gjorgje Petrov Prilep, we organized an event dedicated to raising awareness about early detection and prevention of breast cancer. With inspiring messages, planting pink chrysanthemums, and shared moments together, we expressed solidarity with all women who have faced or are facing this disease.

As part of the activities marking Pink October in the Municipality of Gradsko, an educational forum was held.

Under the symbol of the pink ribbon, together with over a hundred women from the municipality, we talked about women’s health, the importance of awareness, and the concrete steps we can take as a community.

Dr. Rodna Jordanova shared information about breast cancer, prevention, and early diagnosis, emphasizing how women can reduce the risk through regular check-ups and preventive measures.

Psychologist Sara Bogdanoska highlighted the importance of psychological support in the process of prevention and coping with breast cancer.

Every community that speaks openly about women’s health is more mature, more humane, and stronger.
