Improvement of health and social status of vulnerable groups
- Knowledge transfer
- Improvement of the health and social status of vulnerable groups, especially those living in poverty
- Implementation of the community nurse model in rural areas in North Macedonia based on experiences from Austria.
- Establishing community health services – community care for maintaining, protecting, and improving the health status of the population and communities, especially for people living in poverty.
- Strengthening the capacity and sustainability of CSOs (Civil Society Organizations) in North Macedonia in providing social and health services, with a focus on people living in poverty.
- To raise awareness among decision-makers and the staff of ministries/government agencies dealing with social services and healthcare about the importance of equal access to health and social services, and the creation and delivery of services that meet the needs of the community.
- Conducting evaluations to determine the impact of programs on the health status of individuals and the population.
- Using the results from the piloting of the service for further research, to influence the provision of care, the use of healthcare resources, and the development of local, national, and regional health policies for health promotion and disease prevention.
