VACANCY FOR SOCIAL WORKER /PSYCHOLOGIST/ SPECIAL EDUCATOR

Association Center for Development and Education Prilep is an organization focused on providing social services, assistance, and support to individuals/families at social risk. Within the TRANSACT project (Transforming Global Social Challenges into Real Local Actions), the Association is establishing a new Community Nurse socio-health service to improve the health and social status of vulnerable groups, particularly those living in poverty. To successfully implement project activities and provide effective support to vulnerable citizens, the Association announces vacancies for 5 Social Workers/Psychologists/Special Educators.

SOCIAL WORKER / PSYCHOLOGIST / SPECIAL EDUCATOR – 5 Positions

Job Description:
Full-time position based in the Association’s office in Prilep, with fieldwork in the municipalities of Prilep, Krivogashtani, and Dolneni. Employment period: March 15, 2025 – December 31, 2025, with possible extension into 2026.
The Social Worker/Psychologist/Special Educator will assist individuals in need (poor/vulnerable groups) in accessing resources for care or supplements necessary to maintain their quality of life. In close coordination with the Project Coordinator, they will support all operational and administrative tasks related to the TRANSACT project.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Identify individuals/families requiring assistance.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement support services to help beneficiaries and families address challenges.
• Maintain continuous communication with beneficiaries to guide them in accessing services (medical, vocational training, social activities, etc.).
• Assess beneficiaries’ needs, situations, strengths, and support networks.
• Develop individualized service plans.
• Advocate for beneficiaries’ well-being.
• Implement policies and procedures.
• Foster positive stakeholder relationships.
• Identify community needs of vulnerable groups (poor) and report social issues to local authorities
• Collaborate directly with the professional team.
• Ensure inclusivity for all socio-health service seekers (all genders, ages, nationalities, abilities).

Requirements:

• University degree in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or Rehabilitation.
• Knowledge of social protection laws/policies/programs.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication and assertive behavior.
• Strong teamwork skills and self-initiative
• Sensitivity when working with marginalized and socially excluded groups of citizens
• Work experience and
• Strong knowledge of the English language will be considered an advantage
