From May 27th to 29th, our association hosted partner organizations from the Republic of Austria, including the Mayor of Hernbaumgarten, Mr. Christian Frank, the Mayor of Schwachenschadt, and the Project Manager, Mr. Stefan Niedermoser. The visit was carried out within the framework of the TRANSAKT project and included meetings with our association as well as with the institutions we collaborate with.

During the visit, we shared the challenges and achievements related to the delivery of the “community nurse” service, as well as the provision of psychological and social support for citizens. Together with our partners, we also identified new opportunities for improving these services.
At the meeting with the Director of the Intermunicipal Center for Social Work Prilep, Mr. Zoran Malkoski, we emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation in delivering quality services to individuals at social risk.

In the Municipality of Prilep, a working meeting was also held with the Mayor, Mr. Borche Jovcheski, the President of the Municipal Council, Ms. Irena Sterjovska, and the Municipal Secretary, Mr. Marjan Matrakoski. During the meeting, the current measures and initiatives of the municipality in the field of social and health protection were presented, as well as future plans for cooperation with institutions, NGOs, and professionals aimed at creating comprehensive and accessible services in line with the needs and rights of citizens.

The cooperation with the Public Health Center Prilep was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Director, Mr. Goran Kuzeski. The memorandum envisions joint action in the field of health prevention and social medicine.

As part of the visit, we also held a meeting with the emergency medical service in Prilep, where experiences and practices were exchanged to improve access to emergency health support.

Sharing good practices and replicating them with the support of institutions and organizations recognized for their results is the path to sustainable success. We believe that, with the support of our partners from Austria, we will continue to develop and provide high-quality health and social care for citizens at social risk, directly in their homes.
